For over 20 years, Michele Kennedy of Kenwood Drafting and Design has been making dreams come true for her clients. Michele provides architectural design and drafting services to her clients who come to her from all over the world.

With certification for both residential and commercial design (including the Ontario mandated BCIN registration), Michele is able to work with a variety of clients for custom homes, cottages, and renovations as well as a vast array of businesses.

Michele likes to incorporate a variety of unique construction practices such as timber framing, energy conscious net-zero energy building, and one of Canada’s healthiest building practices, rammed earth. Regularly engaging in seminars, conferences and courses, allows Michele to expand her knowledge while remaining current on the latest techniques and technologies.

Following his retirement from a distinguished military service career after 28 years as a field, station, and base construction engineer, Ted moved on to become the Operation Service Manager in the Public Works Department for the town of Whitby. Ten years later and semi-retired once more, Ted and his wife, Shirley Marie, reside at their home on Little Redstone Lake where he provides engineering services in Haliburton County. Ted’s expertise in structural design, as well as building codes and practices, help ensure each clean energy system is safely installed in its real-world environment. He is proud to be involved in the growing Ontario renewable energy industry.
